BEST READER LIBRARY AWARD (SESSION 2025–2026)

The library of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Barpeta has always played a vital role in promoting reading habits, knowledge enhancement, and intellectual development among students and teachers. During the academic session 2025–2026, various initiatives were undertaken to encourage regular library use and cultivate a love for reading.

As part of these efforts, the Best Reader Library Award was introduced to recognize and appreciate outstanding readers among students and teachers who have shown exceptional interest, consistency, and dedication towards reading.

After careful evaluation of library records, issue-return frequency, reading diversity, and active participation in library activities, the following individuals have been selected for the Best Reader Library Award (2025–2026):

Student Category:

  • Kuhi Das (Class VI-A)

Kuhi Das has demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm for reading by regularly visiting the library, exploring a wide range of books, and maintaining consistent reading habits throughout the session.

Teacher Category:

  • Madhusudhan Negi (TGT)
  • Md Aasim Khan (TGT)

Both teachers have shown exemplary commitment to reading and have actively utilized library resources for academic enrichment as well as personal growth. Their involvement has also inspired students to develop reading habits.

The school acknowledges and congratulates the awardees for their dedication and encourages all students and staff members to make the best use of library resources.

Conclusion:
The Best Reader Library Award serves as a motivation for the entire school community to engage more deeply with reading and learning. The library will continue to organize such initiatives to foster a culture of knowledge and curiosity.
